The Ordinary Life

MAY 2023

Have you ever seen any old shops that you unintentionally walked past?

As we walk pass through the alleyways, we come across old, tiny shops that have been standing firmly in the same spot for decades unlike the places we have to search for with the help of a road map app.

We find these places unexpectedly in our busy daily lives.

Sometimes we meet customers in a similar situation. They are usually on the phone, wearing earphones, or giving a dry gesture or nod. They usually disappear in a hurry.

We shift our gaze towards the store owner. The owner has aged without any expressions and words that have become boring and uninteresting; they are just ordinary people.

Once upon a time, they had dreams and spent their youth in a lively and colorful way. However, the fleeting years have turned them into more than just a middle-aged man or woman.

I have added some color to this place that has been covered in dust for many years.

Now, no one visits or cares about this place, and it has become

The most ordinary life.
